We have identified the cause of a save data issue reported by some users. Spamming the save option at campfires can cause it to appear as if save data has been lost when you return to the Main Menu.

- Do not spam the save input at campfires in rapid succession
- If you save multiple times in quick succession, wait a few seconds and save again
If you are trying to save rapidly and this does occur, please take the following steps to reduce the risk of losing your save:
- If you see that your save slots are empty, DO NOT start a new game (this will override data that may still exist). Instead, try restarting the application
- To restart the application, you need to close it by hovering on the app icon and pressing the Options button then choosing Close Game. Then re-enter the application normally.
